Life Is A Fairy Tale Poem by Victoria C..

Life Is A Fairy Tale

In a world of stories, heroes, and queens,
Everything isn't as sweet as it seems.
Lonely people starve and steal,
But richer people don't care how they feel.
They pay for themselves and close ones, dear.
But something inside them shelters fear,
Fear to open up and love,
Or give the poor a friendly shove.
Fairies, creatures, or magic itself,
Regular people, such as myself,
We cannot help all of those in need.
But we can start with one good deed.
Yet, we need evil to balance out good,
And the stories, to help us remember how to together we once stood.
