Life Is Funny That Way - Poem by Adriana O'Connor

i trusted her with my secret but she had to tell
she asked him the question i feared
and now my life is complete
life's funny that way
now and then unentertainable ideas come along
and then good things happen
my mommy fell asleep when she had me
and now i have no parents but i'm alive arent i
lifes funny that way
now and then unentertainable ideas come along
and good things happen
mommy didnt know daddy
but after an hour of time together
i was made.
and now daddy doesnt want me
lifes funny that way
