Life & Luck (1) (Lucky Draw) Poem by U Win Kyi

Life & Luck (1) (Lucky Draw)

Once there was a small factory.
The number of total workers was about 30.
Some thin, slim and pretty.
Some overweighted and heavy.
Some vulgar, rough and dirty.
Some clean, neat and tidy.
Last year they had the year-end dinner party.
The boss had lucky-dip for employees,
to make them lucky and happy.
The prizes were of many varieties.

John's head was so bald and shiny.
He got a hair-dryer....so funny.
Mary was an old lady.
She got a sexy lingerie.
Henry was an old man..so grumpy.
He got a sexy brassiere and bikini.
Judy was unmarried and lived singly.
She got a pack of diaper for baby.
Peter was like a Sumo wrestler..so heavy.
He got an expensive sneaker branded Nike.
Under his feet it felt so uneasy,
making sounds squeaky.
Betty was such a beauty.
She got a bicycle..good and pricey.
Riding daily made her healthy.
The bicycle felt happy and lucky,
even going a long journey.

In life wish and luck sometimes go contrary,
But dont't feel bad or sorry.
Life must go on like walking Johnny,
for the days better and sunny.
