Life On A Black Day Poem by Brandon Wade

Life On A Black Day

am i worth those tears that you cry for me,
am i worth them now as you begin to bleed,
i cant feel my finger tips, just ice cold memories of velvet lips,
and the sound of my heart, as my soul begins to rip.

first i feel angry, then it turns to hate,
they try to make me happy, but we know its to late,
walking on this lonely road filled with thoughts no one knows,
telling myself everthings okay, thats the way it always goes.

there was nothing i could do or say,
that could save my life on a black day,
it only took one word from you,
to make my whole world crash...

as i try to forget what happened,
i erase my memory of you,
one step towards insanity,
thinking theres nothing to lose.

the day is half way over,
and im screaming at the sky,
he must be laughing at me,
cause he knows i tried.

as i try to find him,
im crying for smomeone,
im going insane,
but finding no one.

you said i was worth it,
but we both know there lies,
you dress up in your scars,
the best that money buys.

there was nothing i could do or say,
that would save my life on a black day,
it only took one word from you,
to make my whole world crash....

thank you mandi....one of the best songs i write could only be written thanks to someone like you...although i dont think this is a very good complement considering what the song is about...but you get the point...
