Unlike one standing in a queue
Or gamble in a game
Truly is endless life in view
For all who turn from shame

Promised by God The Creator
Maker of Heaven and earth
Guaranteed by no-one greater
Life through a brand new birth

Free of one's dreadful past before
Regardless what we've done
Heaven will open true life's door
Through blood of Christ God's Son

Promised, before this world began
Before, things came to be
Before, God's hand created man
Christ knew He'd set us free

Such is God's love for lost mankind
Ere Adam disobeyed
Before salvation was to find
Life's freedom path God made

Before The Lord created time
When God alone was there
He caused to answer each man's crime
Through Jesus everywhere

Jesus! Where nothing was before
Jesus! Who's always been
God's living Word, ever sure
Would birth His righteous queen

Of sinful souls like you and I
Born of woman and man
To live again, though self would die
According to God's plan.....
