Life’s Judge Is Watching

We’re almost at the end now
It’s been six thousand years
Still most refuse their knee to bow
To the living One who cares

Enough to live, to suffer as man
To die a sinner’s death
Obedient, to His Father’s plan
To give of Heaven’s Breath

So that man, may live forever
Be clothed with gleaming gown
Rewarding for true endeavour
Life’s gold eternal crown

While the timeslot’s quickly closing
The foolish, wild still roam
Still doubting, and yet supposing
Heaven will be their home

Is this; why The King of Glory came?
God left behind His throne?
Died a death festooned in shame
To gain a heart of stone

Let the bible, God’s Word explain
Man’s eyes, bother to see
That unless man is born again
Redemption cannot be

Through service God, we pay life’s rent
According to each act
Life’s Judge witnesses man’s intent
Before and after the fact

Salvation’s for obedience
Serving life’s King above
When love is chief ingredients
Practicing acts of love…..
