Life's Wonders Poem by Lisa Michelle

Life's Wonders

The night sky is twinkling high above me;
As I gaze into the night, it's all I see.
They cloud my mind with their irredescence;
I look for comfort in their sparkling essence.
They seize my eyes with their mystery;
And they capture my soul when their spirits set free...
Free to roam the heavenly sky;
As I look to them for reassurance, I sigh.
So many wonders of the world throughout;
No one exactly knowing what each are about.
Beautiful and mystifying;
Everlasting, never dying.
They live through our losses & new births;
Growing with more maturity throughout the earth.
I'm fascinated with it all in many ways;
From our many emotions to our passing days.
I thank the Lord for these many gifts;
For them, my heart uplifts...
To the magnificence of life to our every breath;
And our true beginning, being death.
For when we enter God's kingdom-we truly begin;
Living eternally, free from sin.

Life is truly wonderful and we must all live it with hope - and gratitude. A calming poem.
