Lift Me Up
You come silently into my darkness
With a bucket of transparent water
From a far away fountain of heaven
You wash my body and soul
That is steeped in sin
And stinking smell comes out
From my rotten flesh and ancient soul
You come and rejuvenate me
With a touch of your lusty youth
I am getting old and old
My hairs are turning grey
My face wrinkles like dry grapes
I look like a phantom of dark night
You come, come with your dazzling light
Pirates and Bedwin become hot
In your love-lit embrace
You swallow shadow and darkness
In an infinite way
Tigers and elephants lose forever
In the dazzling gleam of your eyes
Swirling shadows surround me
And I am going deeper and deeper
You come like a sparkling angel
Spreading your fathomless light
Lift me up from cauldron of darkness
And give me some delight.

The fervent appeal to the Supreme to lift from darkness and fill with divine light and happiness- -It is really uplifting.

Quite vividly shining the light, that beacon of love, that can carry one from the darkest of places. Absolutely glowing poetry! Thank you for sharing it with all! PEACE
