Light Discovered Poem by Garett Ryan

The world outside is dark and cold
A single light, a beacon in the night
It guides us on our weary way
And gives us hope to face another day
The wind may howl and the rain may pour
But the light within us shines all the more
It warms our hearts and lifts our spirits high
And helps us face whatever comes our way
So let us hold on to that light within
And never let it fade or dim
For it is the source of all our strength
And the guiding star on our journey's length
For as long as we hold on to hope
And believe in ourselves and those we love
That light will burn bright and true
And guide us through whatever we must do.
