Light Of Night Poem by ERNEST CLARY

Light Of Night

Rating: 5.0

O! ye life of living
some taking
others giving
when will you giveth me
the things I cant see
when grapes ripen by day
save the night
spoil the flavor
too much light
excuses my ol friend
I'll live this life of living
till the end
without seeing
there is no sight
hear my plea'ing
lets not fight
live by learning
from your plight
keep on yearning
for the light
in the darkness
of the night
once ye ripen
full of flavor
then ye life
will ye savor
