Light That I Desire Poem by Janelle Morehart

Light That I Desire

Rating: 3.0

Stolen
Taken
Ripped apart
Chewed then spitten out
Like it meant nothing
My dignity gone
Innocence lost
Pride smashed
And Joy demolished
Taken from me in such hate
That none can relate
Im lost in a haze
A fog of despair
Come unto me oh lost joy
Bring me back into the Light
Of which I so desire

Nice choice of words, Janelle... emotional and brilliantly expressed! Brian
