She was like a butterfly in its nascent stage,
What was happening around her, she couldn't really gauge.
She wasn't sure what this was, the beginning or the end.
Completely unaware she was, of what life would append.
She didn't know if she had to get used to how things were and be content.
Or be hopeful that things might change; life might give her a worthwhile present.
Should she be open to any kind of transition?
Something which might put her in a much better position?
The best thing to do was to let time take its course,
Be prepared for what it might offer -something smooth or something hoarse.
She was hesitant and stay put, being immune
But she knew she had to get out of her cocoon.
And slowly she did and was amazed with what was out there
There was so much she had to do, she wasn't sure if she had the flair.
But that was something that could be learnt and so she began
To reach out to the world out there, trying to do so with some élan.
Sometimes all you have to do is spread your wings
And life would definitely take care of things! !
