Like A Faire Tale Poem by Romeo Della Valle

Like A Faire Tale

Rating: 5.0

Suddenly you
Disappeared
Magically as in
A fairy tale that
A child likes to hear,
It appeared to be
That you really
Wanted to leave!

Your cold silence and
indifference showed me
That everything behind
Your sweet words
Was nothing more than
Dried leaves swept away
By the turbulent wind!

Today I feel no regrets
Of having known you
For I see the bitter truth:
Every story short or long
Has a beginning and an end!

You have just become
Another chapter
In the unpublished book
Of my always humble life!
