Like a Little Kitten

Can't help but smile
when I think of you
You make me so happy
with the sweet things you do
Like a playful little kitten
playing out in the sun
You brighten my day
cause you're so much fun
You bring me laughter
when I've had a rough day
Just like a little kitten
you always want to play
So if I'm sitting there
with a smile on my face
From the laughter you bring
while sad moments you erase

Thank you for sharing your thoughts, view and concepts. I enjoyed the read and the wonderful imagery that came forth of the gentle playfulness of someone loved dearly. This I found was well worded, well expressed, and has a good flow and rhythm from beginning to end. Well done (Report) Reply

Poem of the Day

poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

When the hours of Day are numbered,

Wake the better soul, that slumbered,
To a holy, calm delight;

Ere the evening lamps are lighted,
