Like A Sparrow Poem by Jean Dament

Like A Sparrow

Rating: 4.5

Both the little sparrow & I will sometimes fall;
When we're hurt & trodden down by life's struggles,
Feeling defeated, alone like noone can hear our call,
Left to climb back up to sort out this puzzle,
Where all we both just want to safely fly & be free,
Daily each trusting their wings will always hold them in the air,
Carrying the heavy weight of life's journey; as we flee;
And hoping God is constant every day...keeping us safe in his tender
care.

I love my Sparrows too. Their cheerful chattering always makes me smile. I hope the seeds and fat balls cheer them. Liked your poem. tom Billsborough
