Like A Whirlpool Poem by Surya Pratap Singh

Like A Whirlpool

Like a whirlpool in stormy ocean of both the hearts,
Like the sun breaching the agony which is frozen after the news of the depart,
Such were their feelings,
Of which he never asked,
About which she never talked

Like the flames of the solar flare,
Which travels out from sun changing into light,
All the way to earth bare,
Such were their feelings,
Of which he never asked,
About which she never talked

Like a drop on the dead desert,
Like a green sprout on the barren earth,
Such were their feelings,
Of which he never asked,
About which she never talked

Like the fish needs the water,
And the river needs the sea,
Like a monkey needs fruit,
And some branches to hop onto,
Of some trees,
Such were their feelings,
Of which he never asked,
About which she never talked

Like the silence in the jungle,
Like the vast pacific, though deep,
But calm it resembles,
Such were their feelings,
Of which he never asked,
About which she never talked

Like an old man on the bed,
Submitted peacefully to be carried away by death,
Such were their feelings,
Of which he never asked,
About which she never talked

Like a new born child,
Among the humans, or among the wild,
To them even the daylight is pining,
To them even the night seems nit haunting,
Such were their feelings,
Of which he never asked,
About which she never talked

He loved the environment when she was in,
But the same haunted him, piercing his sleep with the night's pin,
He craved for her presence,
Wanted to live with her indehiscent,
This is all she craved to listen,
Throughout the twenty four,
This is all his mind recited and imagined,
To keep him fain
