Like A Whisper Poem by Michelle Tiddy

Like A Whisper

Rating: 5.0

Confusion is rife, it's a curse
It lifts me up on the wave
And crashes me on the shore
Fearing, bleeding, yearning

Where do I turn, to whom?
When I'm lost in a tangent of doom
Just to crash again, just to list
On the undulating tide of life

I am only a human, nothing more
I can't explain my actions,
They are just me, isn't that enough?
I can only succumb to the lust..

That life is, that life plays
A turning, twisting game
A wrenching, pulling hum
That deafens my ears and numbs me

But this is it, what more..
Can I say, I've said enough!
I really think I need to run..
Away and hide, because lies rip me apart

So I'll go, you'll just never know
The pain, the anguish, the me
That I am and truly deserve to be
So I'm gone, like a whisper..........
