Lilith Poem by Donald R Wolff JR

Lilith

Once again the firman has become a new order
For my own has wandered eternity
Bless be my love, The first born of darkness
Now cometh I, dear sweetness; Lusting for Thee

Beg Thee, I believe from within; One made so heartless
They are the words of a promise that burden
A search to succeed

Hell has a place for the soulless my darling
Where fire is the light
Home of the free

Say the unholy before, never spoken
Mortal and darkness; Dare to believe
You, My damnation in marriage I'm calling
Adam was weak, unworthy of Thee

Blue are mine eyes, My lovely serpent
Never a difference that may disagree
Before mine came into existence
Loveless creation, My darling disease

Lilith, my other, enchanter of all the unworthy
Our darkness and light are all we believe
For Heaven thereafter, was built upon sorrow
Our joining became; A sin of their needs
