Limerick: Cheating At Bridge

I sure hope that your partner is able
to hobble away from the table
when the game is all done
and you cheaters have won.
Cheaters never win? That's a fable!

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I owe this poem to my Canadian friend and mentor, Wes Vogler, the master of limericks, who always encourages me to write more of them.

Wes left Poem Hunter for a time and deleted all but one of his poems, but now he is back and writing new poems again. I didn't realize when he first came back, and have only read about half of his poems, but one of these days I will catch up!

Anyway, I left this poem as a comment on his poem (Limerick)Intro to a Tom Swifty # 606, a poem about cheating at the game of bridge by kicking your partner under the table.

Thanks, Wes!
