Limerick-The Tortoise Poem by Loke Kok yee

Limerick-The Tortoise

Rating: 4.3

There was a tortoise in a pond safe and sound
Decided there is a mate waiting to be found
With the outflow he gaily went
Found a river round the bend
He didn’t find a mate for in the river crocodiles abound

Scary indeed, almost makes me want to warn that tortoise that he has something on his back.....

........ So they decided to serve as mate to each other! I am sure first you choose the picture, then write a limerick! Otherwise, how can you select such great pictures to go so perfectly with the limerick?
