Limitless

Stronger than steel
Wider than the world
Deeper then the depths
Higher than the heavens
More massive than a mountain
More refreshing than a river
More reviving than rain
More delightful than the dawn
More splendid than the sun
More precious than pearls
More melodious than music
More universal than the universe
More enduring than eternity
Is God's love

This is a lovely poem where you expressed your love for the mountain what you love to climb, but at the same time you expressed your wishes to ascend ie, to ascend in your life too.... a lovely double meaning what I enjoyed. (Report) Reply

Beautiful and true. Such an expansive verse that tries to encompass the great love that God has for us. I like the length too; short and easy to digest :) Thank you for reading and commenting on my poem A Sobering Thought. Have a nice day. (Report) Reply

Poem of the Day

poet Christina Georgina Rossetti

Go from me, summer friends, and tarry not:
I am no summer friend, but wintry cold,
A silly sheep benighted from the fold,
A sluggard with a thorn-choked garden plot.
