Lips Glazed Poem by The White Rabbit

Lips Glazed

Lips glazed
Heart a beat
Feet weak

You’re losing your balance
Your graceful elegance
And baby its showing
Hands cold
Eyes dull
Arms full

You’re losing your strength
Your indulgent whim
And honey its showing

From the way you walk
To the way you’ve began to talk

Like flirting with fire and ice
You’re just to nice
And the girls say so too
You’ve made it from
‘That one hot guy’
To
‘You’re just not my type’
To
‘You’re just a friend’

And sweetheart you’re feeling it
So pack up your pride
And your insufferable cries
Of
‘That’s not fair! ’
Because tonight no one cares
