Listen -
Hear the cries of pain,
Which once were so joyous -
How can humanity
Be so inhumane?
Feel the sorrow,
Hollowed so deeply
Into peace's very core -
Where has it gone?
Shunned away
When anger, war, sin took over?
Do not let it conquer.
Let the word of God
Ring in your ears;
Let it push away
All anger, war, sin -
Only then may peace
Perhaps be restored.
