Listened To My Voice Poem by Jessie Li here

Listened To My Voice

You acctually said something in my defense
Even if it was a mutter under your breath

I still heard you,
and you heard my voice
You listened to what it said,
Instead of just ignoring
The sound echoing

You tried aiming at the one you protect
Even if it was just a whisper

I still heard you,
and you heard my voice
You listened to what it said,
Instead of just ignoring
The sound echoing

You judged our little conversation
Muttering something she wouldn't hear

I still heard you,
and you heard my voice
You listened to what it said
Instead of just ignoring
The slight echoing....

If I echo again will you hear
Will you fight for me, instead of against

I still heard you,
and you heard my voice
You listened to the faint echoing
Instead of ignoring...
Finally
