Some men slaughter your name
Scandalizing your life
Plunging your world into shame
Lumbering your limpid life with satins of strife.
Some men flatter your ego
Making you believe you're the centre of the universe
If only your self concept, self esteem you should forgo
Listening to their vitriolic verse.
Some men slay your peace of mind
Whispering in your ears sweet nothings
Driving your soul blind
Transmuting your beliefs and values into fictional things.
Some men sell you packs of lies
Claiming you're their only lover
For whom their bottom dollar cries
Until to your chagrin too late their litany of lies you discover.
