Little Angels Poem by Talia Anziliero

Little Angels

You must first suffer in darkness,
Before you can seek the light,
So why do you suffer alone?
Little poppit do not cry,
Please, I shall be your friend and together we can seek the light.

Look there! Look quick! do you not see?
We must first suffer in darkness before we can seek the light.
So why, young child do you cry,
And let all help pass you by.
Young child do not cry, quick,
Come walk with us and together we shall seek the light,
And out of the eternal night.

Quick young child, quick little poppit,
race into the light,
You have suffered enough with the darkness of the night.
Quick little angels race into to the light,
But I shall not follow,
Too long have I suffered in the darkness unable to find the light.

From day to night and night to day I shall stay,
And help others who may sway,
I shall show them the way,
Goodbye little angels, I shall send more your way.

So why must we suffer in darkness before we can seek the light?
