Little Girl Poem by adia parker

Little Girl

Rating: 4.0

Little girl
With the sullen ways
And all the tears
Streaming down her face
She's a ways away
Oh
She's such a dear they say
But they'll never understand why she's so sullen
And grey
Sullen and grey

Upon this summer's eve
She says 'I'm so naive
All my days
And all my ways
They're wrong
Wrong
Wrong
And I'm gone
Gone
Gone

Oh I won't
And oh I don't
Oh I can't'
Sullen and grey
