Little Mermaid Poem by Ashlyn Brena

Little Mermaid

She
traded her breath
and she tasted death.
'It's better to live than die, '
she said
but no one dared to ask her Why?
It's Sad.

She was beautiful more than sunset,
So obviously she was hard to get.
She'd kiss the sun
and all Brocken heart's pieces will get back to one.

She found a new home under water.
and she wrote me a short letter:
'I adore all the things you do,
so I'd love to spend my new life with you.'

She was more like a god,
she'd visualize things she wanted
and boom 'let it be'
This time she wanted me.

If I say no I might turn my face forever,
kiss earth goodbye and taste death,
But if I say yes,
Maybe I'm in love,
Or I'm in a big mess.
