Little Nothings Poem by SaviorsLavish Human

Little Nothings

That endless sunrise, a stellar surprise
A naked disguise in the kingdom of skies
The sound of gushing waves, beauty without a price
Sobbing in vain over a mistake made twice.

The silent lullabies of that woman so wise
Devoured by an asp at the roll of mere dice
Whimsical dreams in the age of the three blind mice
That valiant slithering over the thin ice

With feelings so elaborate yet words so concise
Watching the sun set in someone else's eyes
The meeting of scarlet lips and breaking of intimate ties
Another memory etched for the mind to exorcize

Azure oceans that now look turquoise
Stepped into an abyss, difficult to acclimatize
Those unheard cries, that inheritance of a vice
Intoxicated with euphoria yet the pain never dies

The search for meaning begins, too many things to rationalize
With your former self you'd now empathize
More things you experience their definitions you revise
Seeking the veiled truth in a world full of lies

The dancing emerald leaves as the wind, an enchantress flies
Denying the ersatz emancipation, life's true mosaic you epitomize
Engulfed with humility seeing your existence shrink in size
There are no moist cheeks no painful goodbyes

The sound of crushing paper, the ambrosial apple pies
Melting in someone's arms, little emotions you summarize
The end is here; content and clear, fear is what the heart denies
As you prepare for your last adventure, the one that is most prized.
