Little Pieces Of Love Poem by Immanuel Boamah

Little Pieces Of Love

I care for you

God knows its true

When the sky is blue

I miss us too

I dream t of you

And there you stood

Looking all good

And calling me beau

I've lived for you

We've once been two

I want us new

Our love renewed

You are too perfect

And me too reckless

But could you lend me your heart

I swear I'll keep it intact

I think of us

Sitting in that bus

Anger in our hearts

And me loosing my lass

You've always been beautiful

And me too ungrateful

Getting to kiss a damsel

Holding hands with an angel

I wrote two poems

One yours, the other ours

I pondered over em for hours

And wondered if love still had powers

I sat gazing at the clock

The seconds ticked and tocked

My eyes gazed and popped

My heart raced and stopped

What else do I say?

Wait till my hair turns grey

Or till I fade back to clay

I'll wait to see you in May

If I ever let you go

Our love will still grow

My life will go low

Until those eyes are shown
