Uncertainties of life can turn you upside down
Leave you feeling empty and run down
Not sure of where our journey will lead as we embark
Before we can embrace the light; we encompass the dark
We all have scars we keep buried deep within
Not able to share them; it's hard to know where to begin
Trials and triumphs make us who we are
In order to learn we need to remember every scar
There's no future in living in the past
Let it go and you'll be free at last
When the dark times feel like they won't ever end
That's the time to push through and transcend
Seems it's inevitable; we all fall down
I'll help you rise up and not shut down
When it feels like everyone's forsaken you
I'll help you find a way to make it through
Know that I'm here and never away far
I'll always remain wherever you are
I'll never walk away; I'll help you forget yesterday
Assure you everything will be okay; help you live for today
