Living With God Poem by Tushar Ray

Things are there in nature as they truly are
But we see them by the color of our mind
And make all judgements like good or bad
Reacting naively with our habituated mind

Thus we fail to see the plan of God
Behind His plan of the unparalleled creation
As we dwell on exterior of things we desire
Ignoring our links with the core of all things

We ought to learn to be a detached observer
When we use an object as a study-subject;
Using all-out effort to become the object,
The observer becomes one with his object

There is a meditative way of becoming one
Aligning mind-body-spirit to vibrate in unity
Through right breathing and frame of mind
Feeling “heart-and-Spirit” vibrating in unison

Thus learnt to play from the center around
When mind stays cool in its original ground
By dwelling peacefully in its spiritual nature
While living with a sense of stillness within

Then the essence of all things external to us
Is perceived profoundly by the blissful soul
When mind-body-intellect is a friend to us
And our journey towards God truly begins

Then we feel inside us a fountain of bliss
As mind-body pair obeys spiritual nature,
Non-Ego consciousness stands as “I-within”
Turning One in Consciousness with entire universe

This all-pervading “I” is the God within us
We feel this as a focus of the blissful power
So purpose of our life is to realize just “That”
And live in this modality from now forever

So, sure way to commune with Almighty God
Is to get our senses first melt into intellect;
Melting in turn, in our “I-Consciousness”
So, becoming a part of “God-Consciousness”
Hangout as “Droplet in His Oceanic Universe”
