Loneliness. Poem by chris chapman

do you ever get the feeling that you are alone,
the feeling that your only company is your phone,
well so do i,
and deep down its making me cry,
it gives you that empty feeling,
that feeling not worth stealing,
it makes you emotional,
sometimes even irrational,
you dont know what to do,
who to talk to,
it feels like the only person you have is you,
eventhough you know that's not true,
you feel like you have no purpose,
like a shell without the tortoise,
you can never feel at home,
like you're trapped inside a dome,
these feelings are hard to bottle away,
so i wrote this poem to say,
you are not alone,
you're friends will guide you home.
