Lonely Poem by God is One
Lonely
No one ever seemed to get it
Never knew the truth
I don't understand
I don't know why
The hot tears roll down my flushed cheeks
stinging with no mercy
I always tried to tell someone
though no one listened
Why is there ignorance?
Why is there a feeling of defeat?
Why is lonliness inevitable?
'Is anyone there? ' I utter
No one responds
