Lonely Poem by James Osizimetor Inobemhe

Lonely

Rating: 5.0

The sun rises to my loneliness
Strolls through the day;
shining bright lights on my emptiness
Happiness is short lived;
Like the sun sets on my loneliness

I'm so happy but I'm lonely
I have a girl now but I'm still lonely
Money is here, but my heart is lonely
I've got family smiling at me;
but I'm just so lonely
I don't know how to say this but
My heart is empty

I never thought I'd be alone
I don't want to grow this way
Even with people calling my phone
I'm always alone at the end of the day
And I wake up lonely
