Lonely Moster Poem by Stumpy Carlos

Lonely Moster

Oh there is a monster
Living within me
It's not unique
But a Common Story
His spines and smooth scales
Are cleverly disguised
as Most people see
short fur and sweet eyes
But I am not fooled
By this wicked facade
I see the truth
By the guile of my God
Not a gift but a curse
This damned realization be
It'd be easier and better
to see it furry
For this monster I speak of
Nay, a demon I suppose
Deceives me each day
though my soul by now knows
I feed my dear beast
Let is sleep at my feet
Painfully aware
Of it's constant deceit
When I am two
My hellion he roars
But of fiends plural
I never see yours
When monsters meet
They merge, become one
Their blemish and malice
turn to cheer and fun
This unity I long for
This peace I envy
But my dragon doesn't play nice
just fire and fury
so this monster of mine
ever alone and with me
will forever be horrid
with spines, scaly.
