Lonely People

Lonely People
Wish somebody liked them
Wonder if there is something wrong with them
Knowledge would help.

Lonely People
Wonder why people keep away from them
Wonder if their loneliness is contagious
They know what they have is serious
Knowledge helps.

Lonely People
Don't understand
Why in their prime
Nobody wants to know them
Knowledge would help.

Lonely People
Wonder if they move
To improve
Others will want to know them
Knowledge would help.

When Nature lets the wild earth go its way,
And spend whole seasons on a single day.
The spring-time holds her white and purple dear;
