I couldn’t sleep so I wrote this for you:


I never knew what wanting was,

Or how to tell if someone cared,

what to do when I was lonely,

Or when of life I was scared,

But when I think about you, Robby,

And that’s everything but rare,

I find it all out and it makes me smile,

That I know you’re always there,

To listen to me when I need an ear,

Even when I’m saying nothing at all,

And when I almost hit depression,

The hope you give me breaks my fall,

You inspire me to write poems,

And to be happy because I can,

You make me want to be better,

But also be happy with who I am,

You light up my world everyday,

Just by being in my thoughts,

I guess all I’m trying to say is,

Thanks to you love is what I got
