If you are discouraged, and feeling mighty low,
There's no reason to be happy, this life's all you know.
Well, if you ask me, what I think you ought to do?
Is to look after others, God will look after you!

You may not have much money to spend on anyone,
But just spending your time with a friend, could be fun.
Life is too short, and there's some good you can do,
If you look after others, God will look after you!

Now I've been down that highway of no where to go,
Just thinking of myself, and feeling mighty low,
But then a good friend of mine, told me what I ought to do,
Just look after others, God will look after you!

Look after others, love and treat them real kind,
And for once in your life, you'll have true peace of mind.
It may sound crazy, but you will find that it's true,
When you look after others, God will look after you!

God will look after you, He will bless what you've done.
God will look after you, your new life has begun.
You will never be wanting, and you'll never be blue,
So just look after others, God will look after you.
