Look At Me

What do you see
When you look at me?
Is it a quiet girl.
always stuck in a book?
Or the weird girl who never talks?
What do you see
When I pull out a notebook
and begin to write
do you see the poems?
they may not be good
or well worded and deep
but they come from my heart
they're a window to my soul
so look inside
and see what you see
see if they change the way
that you look at me.

Many think that poetry is weak and only for the weak which of course just silly. People often mock me because I write and then when they read some of them it can change their minds. Hopefully the same can happen with you also. (Report) Reply

I liked this poem a lot, it may describe you but it describes me pretty well also. (Report) Reply
