I need to get my focus
Off of all of my problems
Need to get my mind set
On the Lord on high
I know i have had
Many heartbreaks
And many troubles
And many more to come
But I need to understand
That God's on my side

I seem to always talk about
The pain that I've been through
When I need to realize all the good things
That God has done for me today
I may be troubled
I may be sad
But I need to step out of the past
And onto the stepping stones of the future

Trouble may be here
Trouble may be near
But I know that
Good is to come
