Look Elsewhere Poem by Kalee Skriver

Look Elsewhere

If you try to keep my hand,

To me that is too strong of a demand.

I am my own creature, but a picture in this lovely land.

Look to the north as a guide from within,

Let mother earth show you precisely where to swim.

I choose to let go the worries that flow throughout my heart.

For in the end, all I know is that it was worth it from the start.
