What am I looking for?
Some feeding seeds for a migrant favors
Or the coming back home offended birds
To sing again the serenity songs
Or a departure song for a waiting heart
Maybe I am looking for a hanky to wipe tears
Or two hands as dams
To prevent floods on the cheeks
Or a hot sun to dry a sea of griefs
Or a pencil to draw wings
On Syrian child's back to fly over the seas
Maybe I am searching for an eraser
To remove nest of fear
Settled in the Afghan girl's eyes
Or erase my eyes or pains inside my heart
Maybe all I can do are
looking out the window at night
Sipping a cup of tea alone
Burning in a cigarette to be smoke with it
