Looking For Love Poem by Mark Reed Jr.

Looking For Love

On a mission to immediately
Make this feeling I feel mutual
With a woman I sincerely see
As being so beautiful;

But time is being wasted
From looking in the wrong places
Trying to fill the empty spaces
With a heart that's out dated

How can love be created
With it being so overrated
And intimidated by the pressure
Of never being elated;

Everyday I'm looking for the love
That everyone speaks of,
I've always dreamed about it
But never knew what it really was

Looking for love
Seems to leave you lost
Searching for a feeling
In which your heart pays a cost

So as I look for this passionate affection
I'm quietly learning a lesson
Cause searching for something that can't be found
Has no means of progression.
