Looking In Poem by Tanec Rayl

Looking In

why my friends laughed
how can we use the evidence

it's possible to posit
an alcoholic beverage
things that we may believe, but things that we will see evaporated before our eyes
individual idiosyncrasy

that kind of mistake
that we don't normally talk about

wild children
you'll remember living under the domination of the moon
you'll remember literary and cultural conventions

why is there such a gap
who buried their dead
