How it happened is unbelievable
It seems so biblical to me
What has happened to our world
Is impossible to see.

A virus in which had a name
So it took on a life of its own
It didn't stand still, had plans to fulfill
If only it had simply turned to stone.

But it traveled the world, Lord
With no care or love left behind
Leaving sickness and death
So many answers there are yet to find.

So please, God, if you can find
A way to stop this hate
Of a vengeful virus who will bring
More deaths for sure in its wake!
