Lord I Thank You Poem by Herbert Dry

Lord I Thank You

I thank you Lord for your
amazing grace
My flesh and sin allow me not to
see your face

I am of earth in Heaven is
your throne
The vastness of the universe I know
you own

I know the heavens so beautiful
above
Cannot contain your forgiving
love

Even though your face I
cannot see
I know your love forever
to be

I thank you Lord for the times
so good
When things were bad with me
you stood

Lord I don't have much down
here below
But what I have to you
I bestow

Teach me Lord your righteous
ways
Help me Lord from it not
to stray

Keep me sheltered by
your grace
While the angels above behold
your face
