Losing Myself (Writtten 1/31/10) Poem by Lady Lyrical Kay

Losing Myself (Writtten 1/31/10)

Minding my business, I always stay quiet, I can't laugh too loud or I'm subject to crying.

Deep inside, I wanna weep like willows, but it seems I'm dysfunctional; my tears don't absorb in my pillow.

Just because I'm here though, doesn't mean a damn thing to them, I'd rather runaway from the negativity and still have some left.

I never asked for this life and I surely didn't choose it, even if I had more freedom, I'd still mother more bruises.

I sometimes think God rarely hears my cries, considers my thoughts, feels my pain, but if I continue to doubt and question His righteousness, will His reign be slain?

I don't understand because I have lost half of myself, I can't find my other half and no, I refuse all help.

I don't wanna be lost, I wanna be found, if so or if not, I'll always be around...
