Losing You

Losing you is hurting me
Everyday I cry
Everyday there's pain
I never thought the time would come
But it did
And I wasn't prepared
I raised you since you were a baby
I took you to save you
You became my world
My life my all and everything
You were taken so easily
So quickly and fiercely
I never had the chance to say goodbye
I look at the pictures with you
And my heart sinks
I feel my heart pulling apart
Slowly piece by piece
Muscle by muscle
Losing you took my heart
Inside my soul is dead
My spirit crushed
8 years I had with you
And everyday was a blessing
Now your gone
And each day is darkness
I wish I could have you in my arms
But I know for certain I'll never get that
I'll never get you back
Its that thought that hurts the most
Without you I cant survive
I don't deserve to live
I left you alone
And I cant forgive myself
I want you to know
I love you always
To show you that
I'll take my life

poet Alfred Lord Tennyson

It little profits that an idle king,
By this still hearth, among these barren crags,
Match'd with an aged wife, I mete and dole
Unequal laws unto a savage race,
