Taken Innocence Poem by Nicole Delong

Taken Innocence

You went out for a while.
I was alone with him.
Before long he came.
The room; dark and cold.
The door, locked tight.
He came closer
The sounds echo about.
He took me by the wrist,
and pinned me to the wall
'Dont worry now i wont hurt you.'
His hand feels my heart race.
I felt a release and I tried to run.
I failed to get away
Pinned back against the wall
His weight baring on me.
Silence ensued.
The metallic rustle fills the air.
Please don't let it be.
He came in closer.
The cold hard hands run over me.
The tears fall and I scream.
'Be silent now, we'll be done soon.'
I lay to the floor, held down.
His glass eyes over me.
The cold piercing gaze.
I couldnt pull away.
I can only cry until it was done.
The helpless feeling.
The pain unbearable.
The minutes feeling like hours.
I cry wishing it would end
Never tell. 'This is our secret'
I thought it was over but he always came for more.
I tried to fight but never could overcome.
Escaping never came.
